Electrical Engineer Wanganui

Qualifying with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Auckland University, I was also awarded a scholarship from NZ Post Office and started my professional career as an engineering cadet. On completion of my degree I commenced full time employment for the NZ Post Office / Telecom and remained in that role for a number of years.

I became registered in 1989 under the  registration act of that time, whilst working for NZ Post Office / Telecom. One year later I was accepted into membership of the Institute of Professional Engineers New Zealand – MIPENZ.

After leaving Telecom I worked for PEC (NZ) Ltd as an Electronics Engineer, carrying out an R&D / Production Engineering role.

My next position was a management role heading up the Medical Electronics Department at Waikato Hospital.

Following a move back to my home town, I established ElecTech Design Ltd in Wanganui in 2006 to meet the need for an Electrical Consultant / Designer in the lower North Island.
